About Ben

Hey everyone and welcome to my internet marketing blog!

I would like to introduce myself, for those of you who don't know who I am my name is Ben Brooks and i'm a 29 year old internet marketer from the United Kingdom.

That's me in the photo below with my gorgeous girlfriend Sarah. Together we have two great kids, Chloe who is 11 years old and Alfie who is 6 years old.

Before I became an internet marketer I used to be a roofer in the construction industry. Being a roofer was great in the summer, I don't care what anybody says, there is no better job in the world when the sun is shining. But come winter time it was a different story, Brrrr!

Everything was going great until I started to suffer from chronic lower back pain. I tried to shrug it off but when you are lifting a lot of heavy weights and working at awkward angles it soon became too much to bear.

I was eventually diagnosed with dehydration and excessive wear & tear of the discs in my lower back caused by years of not drinking enough water and lifting roof tiles. If I was to get better I knew that I couldn't continue working in the construction industry.

I had a problem! I had been a roofer since I left school with no qualifications so what was I going to do? I couldn't afford to go to college and there was no way I could afford to work in a lower paid job so I began searching the internet for ways to make money. Thats when I stumbled upon 'Multiple income streams' and stories about ordinary people making huge sums of cash from the comfort of their own homes.

I thought that I had struck gold!

So I starting buying every ebook under the sun that promised to make me rich.

To cut a long story short I reckon I have tried almost everything to make money online but always unsuccessfully until I heard that famous phrase. “The Money Is In The List”

So I gave it a shot!

In August 2009 I made the hardest and quite possibly the best decision I have ever made, I decided to give up my job and go head long into building my internet marketing list!

At the time of writing which is January 2010 I have built a list of over 13,000 active & loyal
subscribers and I earn an average of $10,000 per month from my list.

Now I want to pass on my knowledge so that you can acheive similar success!
